The Montfort Missionaries is a religious congregation of the Catholic Church founded in the early 18th Century in France. www.montfort.org.uk

They have worked on the Ashurst site since 1942. In 2011 they began the innovative Geo House project to find a wider use for the premises.

Richard is the project leader and reports to the project steering committee. Alongside work in Geo House,  Richard is also secretary of the Catholic Missionary Union and has other commitments.

Fr Ronnie is the Vice Provincial for the Society of Mary(Montfort Missionaries)

It would be IMPOSSIBLE to operate this project without our wider community. The residential team are supported by a group of project helpers undertaking various tasks from flower arranging, cleaning, gardening, fundraising and banking. Those who come to the chapel for mass on a Sunday or weekday and those who support the 'friends' fundraising events ...are all part of the growing Geo House Community.
